There is three games left and still alot to play for - washington traven, gilsgate travs and the steelers still to play could the glen still get in the top six and hope for promotion?

Sorry lads i have just found that i missed out a result of hilda park and it was a game they won so even if we did win all of our last games we still cant get in the top six! never mind.....................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................i am board

Even if there was more than 6 teams to get promoted due to drop outs in the higher leagues, I think we would be extremely lucky to get in via that route.
On the whole I think that terrible run of defeats through November and December when we were getting tonked off the likes of Belmont and Pelton Crown is what f**ked our season up. Even the couple of slip ups of late (against Kibblesworth Plough both games) could well have affected our final push but I think we should just concentrate on winning our final 3 games then if, and only if the results go our way it will be a bonus.
Obviously keeping the team together is top priority for next season (hopefully adding one or two others to the squad) and then sorting out a new manager should be next on the agenda.

Aye, if we win our last 3 games it'll put us 7th which is exactly mid-table. Compared to last season, that's quite an improvement so it gives us something to build on for next year. Like Clogger said, if we get lucky and more teams drop out, then it'll be a bonus.

i think we will win next two but lose on thursday cos we all ways lose people during the week. and the steelers are a good side

Pah, I reckon we can beat the Steelers, they've shown nowt both times we've played them and you have to remember we weren't on the pitch last time, hence the lack of goals I reckon the next game will be the hardest, though it's very winnable. You'd think the fact that the league table in no way backs this up might convince me otherwise but I'm sticking to my guns.
