Last Nights Game

Well done last night lads. A thoroughly deserved victory in my opinion. At one point when we went 1-0 down, I thought that the flood gates were going to open, but fair play to us we kept going and got our rewards for it.

A well anticipated goal that Nick scored, for all their defender did shout "head it back to the keeper" which give him the opportunity to get through!!!

An inspired substitution from manager Dave McKie saw Iain Bestford come on the last 10-15 minutes only for him to get a dramatic winner with minutes to spare. A superb shot into the bottom left hand corner.

A well deserved Man of the Match went to Davey Cowen!!! I'm just joking Dilly so don't start going off it because I do agree that you deserved it but the opposition make the decisions on this subject.

A comment has to be made on Lukee, what were you playing at with those corners?!?!?! Lean back Paul, it does wonders!!! Dave McKie should have taken him off long before he did!!! Just joking Paul, don't ban me for saying that!!!!

Also defender Stewart Rawling is in negotiations to make his loan spell from the Vic into a permanent deal - watch this space!!!

I'm not going to go on and on about the man of the match thing, but surely the Glen management should give a man of the match for the website and not rely on the oppositions opinion! I could have scored a hattrick last night, set up 8, cleared 3 off the line and saved a penalty and they still wouldn't have give it to me as I was having a bit of aggro with their sidelines and a few of their players.

Thanks Clog 4 the match report. Im so pleased that u guys got a good win. I know its a team game but can anyone let me know how Clogger did ? Did he show an extra yard of pace or improved stamina from my regime. I need to know to see if it is working or if i need to push him that bit harder.

Clogger was briliant and showed great fitness and stamina!!! Your work is paying off!!! I still think he is keeping a few secrets though as there was a lot of garlic butter leaking from his boot bag last night!!! I suspect a squashed Kiev!!!!

Thanks Electra i thought i could see some real improvement from him in recent days and my efforts with him seem to be paying off. Still a long way to go.

Also thanks for the garlic tip. I will find out tonite wen i ask him. He has lied a few times wen i have asked him but he has been clean the last few days. he know to tell the truth now as i have a machine that measures his garlic levels. They were at an all time low the other day but if he has been sneaking kievs it will show up tonite. Clog i hoped u havent let me down
