How'd the glen get on at weekend? had a scouting mission elsewhere and missed it. Thought someone might give me an honest insight before the rubbish gets put on the website.

Bonz- Did he Play? was he any good?

Clogger? was he match fit?

Lukey? Any good?

Whats happened to Dilly? does he still play? if so, why doesn't he stop for training. Surely one of the best players at the Glen.

We got beat 4-2 I think though I missed the last 5 minutes getting changed. Bonz played centre mid and was alright, Dilly played and was pretty good but repeatedly tried to get himself sent off and Paul was suprisingly good Got forwards well to support the attack. I was, as is often the case shite. Clogger went off injured at the start of the second half. The Cowans were both very good, especially Davey who shockingly scored twice with the second being a virtueoso solo goal from the halfway line.

The Glen got beat 4-2 although they were winning 2-1 at one point early in the second half.

Bonz did play and did quite well and showed for the ball as usual.

Clogger was doing a good job ( Although he gave away a penalty ) until he went off injured with hunger pains!

Paul did quite well and tracked back well doing his defensive duties! A 100% effort as usuall and delivered some good corners!

Nick is right both the Cowen's were quality with Paul the organiser at the back and Davey full of running up front and it was nice to see him notch 2 goals, with the second a really good individual effort.

Dilly did play, he did ok but tired in the second half. He did get booked, but wasnt trying to get senf off, it's calling putting your foot in and letting the opposition know your there rather than pussy footing around them and being a fairy letting them kick lumps out of you and you just letting them do it!

I think we could do with more of that this week Sunday in the return fixture! If the Glen go there scared of getting a kick or going into a tackle they are going to come back on the end of a hiding!

I've got to say this then lads. How the fuck did you get beat then? If everyone played well you should beat them. Seen oasis a few times- surely the fattest team in Durham!!

Cos the Glen aren't good enough and dont have any strength in depth at al!!! A few players were missing today and you could tell! Simple as that!

To be fair though and I'm not trying to make excuses, the first goal was a mistake and a lack of comminucation between Skid & Paul Cowen, although I'm not having a go, one was a penalty and the third goal should probably have been cleared!

I've got to agree though, they have got to be the fattest team in Great Britain!! They made Clogger look like he was as ripped as Gavin Henson!!

I would also like to make note, can anyone even the legendary Johan Cruyff, pull off a Cruyff turn quite like Tadge!!! I have my doubts he could! He turned their full back yesterday and had him dizzy with the turn!! Tadge = footballing genius!

The result seems like we got hammerd. but a thought there was parts of the game, where the Glen where the better side.

Yeah we looked decent untill the last 30 mins when we obviously tired and started to lose our shape. It's something to buildon and put right next week though as when we got the ball down and played we looked the better side.

We might struggle for a defence though with Clogger injured and Michael 'Dave' Burke (dislocated shoulder).

I've managed to persuade Dave (Michael Burke) to play through the pain barrier on Sunday, so we should be OK for a back 3.

Can anyone please confirm Clogger is off work due to his injury? It must be hard sitting at a desk all day!
